I'm sorry to say I missed my fifth blogaversary by several weeks. I miss the comfort of Mindsay; we've been friends for quite some time, you know.

In the past month, I've been travelling quite a bit (Germany and England, mostly for business but inevitably for pleasure--I do like to pretend I have a life). I'm now back at home in Italy. I've also been very ill and there was one time I was nearly taken to the emergency room because my lungs were so full of fluid. I believe Vesuvio is simply jealous. The worst I am feeling now are my normal allergy symptoms and a ripping caffeine headache that another cup of strong tea should alleviate.

My Blogger blog I have kept up with some pictures and activities (see the sidebar for a link) but not really very many personal reflections or creative bits of anything. I've taken up a post guest-blogging for a semi-professional site, which is fun, but under my real name so I won't post a link from here. That takes time, tho! It is more tedious than I imagined, too.

Alright. I had the best intentions of writing an interesting entry, but it has turned out to be only an update. Hopefully I will be able to write more tomorrow, and without such an awful headache. Gahh.
